green seersucker dress Pattern: My own Fabric: 100% cotton seersucker Construction Notes: The bodice is gathered beneath the bust and sewn into a straight waistband. The skirt is also straight and pleated. It zips up the back with an invisible zipper. Miscellaneous Ramblings: I made up the pattern for this dress myself, because I wanted the stripes to be a part of the design of the dress. I think it ended up looking sort of 1950s-ish because of the full skirt and the band across the midriff. It's 100% cotton so it's very comfy and cool in hot weather! back
